This evolution is evident in the latest Resort 2025 collection, which seamlessly integrates more everyday shapes and solid colors into the brand’s signature aesthetic. Martin’s approach has been to soften the boldness of La DoubleJ’s distinctive prints, introducing more digestible graphic patterns on jacquard mini frocks, flared pants, and knits. Checkered motifs on wool bomber jackets and faded florals on chiffon skirts add a touch of laid-back elegance to the lineup.
Alongside the brand’s vibrant prints, La DoubleJ has also embraced a more monochromatic direction. Martin’s take on the tuxedo shirt, with its tone-on-tone plastron on the front, offers a crisp and elongated silhouette that serves as a canvas for the brand’s evolving style. Satin black pants and soft sweaters crafted from cashmere and merino wool-blends, as well as crushed velvet dresses, reveal a more subdued yet still impactful side of La DoubleJ’s signature partywear.
